Agile Product Management Consulting

I started Summit in response to several years of interacting with companies in various stages of product management and Agile maturity, each one struggling with some aspect of adoption. 

 

In 2016, as part of my personal and professional retrospective of 2015, I stepped back and attempted to define what was going on. I realized that far too many organizations were implementing Agile components and product management teams without understanding, or even knowing, what problem they were attempting to solve. And as such, these attempts and people floundered. Their roles became complete bastardizations of the original intent. The companies got frustrated with the lack of progress, "But we have product managers! We do daily standups!"

I picked lessons I have learned in the interim that I believe would serve a startup well. An a la carte approach to product management and Agile is appealing to startups that may not be ready to hire a full-time product manager but still need specific product tasks completed.
